This year our real world meet up is taking place in Newcastle City on Friday 29th June to Saturday 30th June. Our meet up is a chance to put a face to the name, and all members are welcome to attend. Please see below for the full details along with how to confirm your attendance. Please confirm you attendance by Sunday 8th April 2018 so we can start planning the activities:
Location : Newcastle City Centre
Members are free to join either a singular day or both days, please specify this when you confirm your attendance.
Friday 29th June
Please arrive no later than 6pm as we will be eating at 7:30pm in a restaurant to be chosen
Hotel Choice – Premier Inn Newcastle City Center. Currently showing at £60 free cancellation for the evening or £40 no cancellation. If you can find someone to share with that’s £20/30 each. Hotel Link Here.
Meal Will be at 7:30pm at a Restaurant to be confirmed
After a few drinks in bars in Newcastle for 18+ only.
Saturday 30th June
10am – Breakfast at a Restaurant to be confirmed
12am – Activity to be confirmed
2pm – Lunch at a Restaurant to be confirmed
4pm – Meet up end’s, time to go home!
Travelling to Newcastle
There are many ways to travel to Newcastle, we recommend for long distances air travel however do take a look at flights into Edinburgh as the availability may be better from your departure airport, and its a 1 hour train hour ride away priced at £10
We will be asking members for a small contribution in return for merchandise and activities at the meet up, we will try to subsidize it to the best of our ability but there will be a small amount for each member attending to help towards to meet up.
How to confirm your attendence
Please confirm your attendance through our dedicated discord channel #meetup2018 . Please confirm how many days you will be attending for no later than Sunday 8th April. Also keep an eye on the channel as we will be running polls on activities and restaurant ideas over the next few weeks.
