With the warm weather and lifting of restrictions in the UK we have seen less flights this month at UK virtual, however we have seen some new faces at our group flights which is excellent. We have another great month ahead with more group flights, a new tour to try and our real world meet up to look forward to in October.

We have also welcomed alot of new faces to the virtual, so do come and say hello to us on Discord and join the great community we have online at UK virtual.

Flight Operations – UNI154 Ryan

This month we are spending some time in the Azores with a new short tour only available for August. If you complete all 10 legs before the end of the month, you will be entered into our prize draw to win £50 worth of airport scenery of your choice. Any aircraft in any livery can be used for all the legs.

UK virtual offers 160 + airlines however we are always looking to add more to our route network. If you have any ideas regarding new airlines or routes, please fill in the following survey  with your ideas:

General Operations – UNI517 Mike

It’s been a long time since we were able to see each other face to face, so we are pleased to announce a real world meet up for October 2021 in Manchester. We will be celebrating our 10th birthday as a virtual airline at the meetup, so this year it is extra special for us all.

If you would like to join us and you have not yet received an email inviting you, please drop Ryan a message either on Discord or via email over the next few days to register your interest. We only have a limited number of places available so do get in touch if you wish to join us.

Flight Reports Manager – UNI1011 Chris

Recently we have noticed a large amount of overspeeds in flight reports with no apparent deflection being administered – for example spoilers being deployed.

Our flights are not a race, we prefer quality over quantity at UK virtual and therefore we will be taking a closer look at those flights with overspeeds from this month, and if it becomes a habit your flight will be rejected. Don’t red line your flight for the sake of a few minutes saved!

Conclusion

We understand that it has been hot out, and the heat from your PC just adds to the temperature so thank you as always for sticking with UK virtual and continuing to fly with us, we look forward to seeing as many members in October as possible in Manchester.
